<h2><b>What</b> You<b> Can Expect in our Segovia wine tour. (Tour and Tasting)</b></h2>
Live an unforgettable experience visiting the amazing town of Segovia and its three most important monuments: the Aqueduct, the Cathedral, and the Alcazar. We previously visit a winery with very good wines and have lunch in a very good restaurant. <strong>Segovia is an amazing town</strong>.

This is one of the most popular day trips we offer from Madrid. Segovia is not far from 2 very famous wine regions: Ribera del Duero Region and Rueda. This is a combination of a Segovia tour and a Segovia winery tour.
<p style="text-align: left;">It is unbelievable that such a small city could have <strong>3 monuments</strong> that, any of them would be worth to be visited alone. <strong>It has been considered a city world heritage.</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><iframe title="YouTube video player" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/qUtI1-tzEmk" width="560" height="315" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="allowfullscreen"></iframe></p>

<h2 style="text-align: left;">The Roman Aqueduct</h2>
First. <a title="The Roman Aqueduct of Segovia" href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aqueduct_of_Segovia" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"><strong>The Roman Aqueduct</strong></a>. A work from 2000 years ago that still stands as the first day. We are happy if a visitor tells us he does not have a concrete image of what he is going to find. He is the one to enjoy more in the tour. It allows us to act as if we were like David Copperfield making our visitors to have an impresion that maybe they will never forget in the rest of their lives.

<strong>We consider the building of the Aqueduct 2000 years ago </strong>a more impresive work that what man did in 1969 getting to the Moon. We try to make our visitors see how the ancient inhabitants of that area would feel when they saw that the Romans were building that authentic jewel. And you get into this town crossing those arches and meet a town out of a dream.

Much of it dedicated to being visited on foot in which <strong>each stone oozes history.</strong> Spain and Segovia are the unrepeatable consequence of their peculiar history, with influences of all those who passed through these lands. Ancient Iberians, Romans, Visigoths, Arabs, Jews, French. They all left their mark there. And we, Spaniards are very proud about it.
<h2>The Cathedral.</h2>
After having visited the Aqueduct you might think that there is nothing more to see but when you come across <a title="the Cathedral of Segovia" href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Segovia_Cathedral" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"><strong>the Cathedral</strong></a> you find it unique. You see it during the day, at night, on the outside, inside. And no matter how you look at, <strong>you fall in love with it.</strong>
<h2>The Alcazar.</h2>
There is even more. There is an amazing castle, <strong><a title="the Alcazar of Segovia" href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alc%C3%A1zar_of_Segovia" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">the Alcazar</a>.</strong> It is so formidable that <strong>Walt Disney himself was inspired to design the</strong> <strong>Castle</strong> that appears in <strong>Snow White and 7 Dwarfs</strong>. In a few words <strong>a fairy tale Castle.</strong>

Well. We see all that after having visited <strong>a fantastic winery</strong> in an area that is considered to have <strong>some of the best wines in Spain. </strong>There we will taste its wines. Then we have lunch. We have the <strong>challenge that the winery and lunch have to be at the same level as Segovia</strong>. (Lunch 25 euros additional approx)

<strong>Wine will also be with us during our visit to Segovia</strong>. We strongly believe that <strong>everything is much nicer with a glass of wine in hand.</strong>

<strong>Why should you come with us on this tour?</strong> Because of Segovia? The winery? Wines? Lunch? A combination of all that. One thing we know is that <strong>we are going to make our best to make you have an unforgettable experience</strong>. That is what we have been doing for years and that is what we are going to be doing in our next tour. Come with us.

<h2><b>What</b> You<b> Can Expect from the Avila Wine Tour.</b></h2>
<strong>In the mid-sixteenth century, the Spanish King Philip II</strong> decided that the capital of Spain would be Madrid. He did so to take power away from the church and the nobles. That was bad for the economies of several towns in Madrid. But we, in the 21st century, are fortunate because we can see those towns as they were many centuries ago. This is the case of Avila.
<h2>The Medieval Wall of Avila. The Cathedral.</h2>
<strong>Avila has the best preserved medieval wall of Europe.</strong> <strong>Visiting that city and walking over the wall</strong> is a great pleasure because you can believe that you are a soldier in the year 1200 and the wall is in perfect conservation.

<strong>We will also enter the Cathedral</strong>,  one of the most beautiful cathedrals in Spain. That cathedral is part of the medieval Wall. Then we Will have the privilege of <strong>looking at the city from the outside</strong>. Many times we can do it during sunset or maybe when the darkness has arrived .

<strong>The city looks even more beautiful lit by thousands of lights.</strong> A completely different town. <strong>But in our journey wine is also the other protagonist of the tour.</strong>
<h2>Rueda tours.</h2>
<strong>That's why we visit first, the city of Rueda,</strong> not far from Avila <strong>with beautiful wineries and attractive wines, some of them with incredible facilities and stories as attractive as the city of Avila.</strong> After having visited the winery and tasting the wines <strong>we will have a quick lunch (tapas and wine)</strong> (15 euros additional) to have enough time to enjoy everything we can of the town of Ávila.

<strong>On this tour, there is sometimes a debate</strong> <strong>about what is better.</strong> Whether visiting the wineries in Rueda or visiting Ávila later.

<strong>And we always say that the best is the combination of both experiences</strong>, <strong>because we believe that everything is much more beautiful with a glass of wine in hand.</strong> (The wine that is in Rueda is white but we will have white and red wines on the tasting). If you decide to come please tell us which is your impression on that debate.

After what you have read, we try to make you know that this a pleasure for your eyes, but also for your taste and smell with the beautiful wines that we are going to taste, but also with the stories you will hear<strong>. Our goal is to make you</strong> stop with emotion and in this way make you <strong>enjoy the 5 senses. </strong> <strong>Tell us at the end of the tour if we have achieved it because that is our best prize.</strong> <strong> </strong>

<a href="https://beta.winebus.es/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/Tour-Avila.jpg"><img class="wp-image-13854" src="https://beta.winebus.es/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/Tour-Avila.jpg" alt="Tour Avila" width="600" height="329" /></a> Tour Avila
<h2>We will visit <a title="Rueda wines" href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rueda_(DO)" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Rueda</a>.</h2>
We will visit <strong>Rueda</strong>, an important area where you can find out the most popular white wine in Spain. If you visit the village of Rueda, you will believe that you are visiting a typical western village with a single high street. The kind of wine they elaborate there is called “Vino Blanco con uvas de verdejo” (“White vine with verdejo grapes” in English) This grape is so special and once you taste it, you will not forget its flavor and taste” Wine is the most impressive thing that visitors will find out in Rueda and everyone can see the underground caves that were built there in the last centuries.

According to the experts, the local wine producers only had this option in order to keep its final products in safe places during the whole year by digging into the earth and having the wine resting there before bottling. New and improved techniques were introduced later, but the majority of the wineries were closed in the 50s and 60s and the few that remained in the same place bought the underground caves to those people who sold their properties to the rest of the producers.

Nowadays, visitors can see some endless galleries that are owned by two of the most important wineries in Rueda. In addition, there are several stunning medieval places near Rueda such as Tordesillas, Ávila, Olmedo and Medina del Campo, among other examples. Its cultural legacy is outstanding and a large number of people will learn more useful facts about Spain and its old kingdoms by visiting some old castles, cathedrals, churches and other relevant monuments.

At Winebus we would like to get new nice stories from other people and we believe that their feedback can be better if we listen to them with a good wine glass in hand, and that is actually what we try to do after finishing our activities in other Spanish regions. <strong>Lunch is not included in the price of the tour and visitors will have other different options from the organizers of those trips by considering the prices of the meals (From 15 to 45 euros)</strong>

<h3><b>What</b> You<b> Can Expect from the Windmills of la Mancha Tour</b></h3>
If you accept this activity, you will visit a remarkable winery in <strong>Don Quixote´s land</strong>, one of the most popular books in the history of literature thanks to the brilliant work from <strong>Miguel de Cervantes</strong> (a successful Spanish writer from the 17th century) <strong>La Mancha</strong> is the the largest surface of vineyard in the world and is also considered as one of the best areas in Spain in order to grow high-quality grapes.

Nowadays, some of the best Spanish companies are now opening new wineries in such area and those initiatives are generating a lot of wealth and employment there. According to the experts, the local producers have been improving its wineries by introducing the latest technological developments within the region they operate, as well as maintaining the oldest ones in order to satisfy the consumers´ needs. La Mancha can be considered as one of the most picturesque areas of Spain for that reason without forgetting other tourist attractions like the medieval town of Toledo, for example. There are also other historic medieval towns and villages we should consider such as Consuegra, Campo de Criptana and La Mota del Cuervo, all of them with amazing windmills, hiking trails and birdwatching facilities. Everything is possible with Winebus because we consider that things will be better with a glass of wine in hand. We will also have lunch at some well-known restaurants where people can taste some typical dishes in this specific area. If you are interested in the Spanish way of life, you should definitely try its national food. If you want to carry out the same activities like the ones from the local people, you should eat the same recipes and visit some interesting places there.

<h2><b>What</b> You<b> Can Expect from this Ribera del Duero Wine Tour</b></h2>
<strong>Ribera Duero wines</strong> are associated with high-quality wines in the world of wine. Ribera Duero wines came into the international market later than Rioja wines.

Rioja was the first region of Spain that realized how important the international market was going to be for its wineries.

In 1982, <strong><a title="Ribera del Duero" href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ribera_del_Duero" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Ribera del Duero</a></strong> region was created to help this region to be known all over the world.

Thanks to this initiative, more and more people are now supporting and buying its wines. Currently they have enormous international prestige.

The attraction of Ribera del Duero is not only in its wines but also in its Middle Age towns appearance,

You can also enjoy its landscapes, its castles, and its gastronomy.

Ribera del Duero is only two hours from Madrid.

The Ribera del Duero wines are made with Tempranillo grapes.

This grape is the same grape as the one planted in Rioja and La Mancha regions. But the resulting wines are completely different.

In Ribera, there is very peculiar weather in summer. Very hot during the day and very cool during the night. There is very low rainfall and high altitude above sea lev

<h2><strong>We will begin our Ribera del Duero wine tour...</strong></h2>
...with a visit to a well-known winery. The wines which are produced there are full-bodied wines where the fruit is very present.

Later, we will have lunch at one of the most renowned restaurants in the area.

In the afternoon we will visit a second winery.

If we can, we will make a complementary activity that will allow us to explain what Ribera del Duero is. It may be a monument, a landscape, an old chapel, etc,
<h2>Complementary activities</h2>
We may visit a medieval town, a cathedral, a castle, or an underground cave. The purpose is to make you understand that Ribera del Duero has much more than wines.

We may also go to a festival or any other special event related to the Ribera del Duero area.

<strong>Lunch is not included in the price of the tour and visitors will have different options depending on your wishes.</strong>

<h2>You will find in this Toledo Wine Tour...</h2>
... a fantastic combination: An amazing city, with spectacular medieval history, incredible monuments, a Cathedral that could compete in grandeur with Saint Peter of the Vatican himself. Here the stones speak. And we suggest you do so by previously visiting a winery near this city.

We deeply believe that everything is much more beautiful with a glass of wine in hand. That the city is much more beautiful with a glass of wine in hand. Any wine tastes much better if you previously listen to a beautiful story related to wine.

In all the years that we have been doing wine tours, we have verified that we have never had a bad wine after a beautiful history. And I can assure you that the history of Toledo and its wines is exciting.
<h2><b>What</b> You<b> Can Expect in this Toledo Wine Tour</b></h2>
What is better? Visit a beautiful winery? Have some great wines? Visiting a city with the most beautiful and richest history in the world?

Listening to a wonderful story about one of the most beautiful and richest cities in the world told by someone with great knowledge and who knows how to tell incredible stories?

Enjoy the same day in that city of ... rain to the pitchers ..., then sun in abundance in a clean sky by the previous rains ..., more rain, a hail of scandal, and again sun?

Enjoy that new sun from an incredible terrace with one of the most beautiful landscapes that can be seen in an incredible city? Since you don't have to choose which one is better you could enjoy all of the above on the same day.

That is what has happened to us in the Winebus the last time we have been in there. If you were there with us, congratulations. If you were not, you have missed something spectacular.
<h2>Come with us</h2>
These things don't happen if you stay in "the big town". These things, at least, do not happen to me. In the big town, I do not have my senses so awaken. But wide awake on a trip like this.

You will have to wait for the next Winebus. And may you will be as lucky as the participants of this tour have bee. Because so far all the Winebus tours have been downright good. But what happened this time it has been memorable.

We invite you to come with us to make this wine day tour, from Tuesday to Friday.

I do not know if it will be sunny or rainy. It does not matter the weather if you leave the big town.

Come visit one of the most beautiful cities in the world, <a title="History of Toledo" href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toledo,_Spain" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">with an incredible history</a>.

We propose you do it with us. We propose you to do the Toledo Wine Tour with a glass of wine in hand

<strong>Lunch is not included in the price of the tour and visitors will have different options depending on your wishes.</strong>

This is a tour that we are extremely proud of.

We want to show our visitors two of the places with the most well-known history of Spain in the world.

We refer to the visit of Consuegra and Toledo.
<h2>Come to the Toledo Consuegra day trip for so many reasons.</h2>
<p style="text-align: left;">Consuegra is famous for its Roman past of 2000 years ago, It is attractive to see its Roman past. Anyway, one comes to Consuegra looking for more than its Roman past are its windmills, it is an unbeatable state of conservation with dreamlike views.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><iframe title="YouTube video player" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/X6_sibf5IdE" width="560" height="315" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="allowfullscreen"></iframe></p>
<p style="text-align: center;">Toledo Consuegra day trip.</p>

<h2>You can see windmills in other places but Consuegra is somehow special.</h2>
<p style="text-align: left;">There are other groups of windmills in La Mancha that compete with Consuegra in beauty and history. Personally, I consider that the view that one can have from the Consuegra mills is unforgettable.</p>
When you look from up there you can see infinity. That is also seen in the sea with the difference that in that case, everything is blue.

In Consuegra, one can see that infinity but with many other colors that mix as if they were the palette of an abstract art painting. There are reds, blues, brown greens…, Everything is mixed before our eyes.

It doesn't matter what the weather is like. If it is sunny because it is sunny and if it is cloudy because the clouds also give the area a very attractive appearance.
<h2>A 10th-century castle in the middle of the windmills.</h2>
There is also a 10th-century castle in Consuegra that competes in prominence with the windmills. Consuegra and Toledo were the border between the Christian and Muslim world in the year 1000. This castle reminds us of it. One realizes that this castle changed hands several times despite its impregnable appearance. And one is told that the son of El Cid, the most famous of the Spanish medieval warriors, was killed here in a battle.

Coming to Consuegra can give you to understand what went through Cervantes's head when he wrote Don Quixote, or you may not understand anything and push you to come more times to understand the secrets that La Mancha is showing to its more patient visitors.

After visiting Consuegra we turn to Madrid to meet Toledo.
<h2>Then we go to Toledo</h2>
<p style="text-align: center;"><iframe title="YouTube video player" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/1pZFdRAt42I" width="560" height="315" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="allowfullscreen"><span data-mce-type="bookmark" style="display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;" class="mce_SELRES_start"></span></ifra</iframe></p>
In Toledo, there is a lot to see. You can dedicate a couple of days to it and it will still seem like little, but there is so much to see in Spain that I understand the people who decide to divide the day between Consuegra and Toledo and this tour is designed for this type of people.

We will spend a few hours in Toledo to visit its streets, learn about its history, its cathedral and learn about the work of El Greco, one of the most brilliant painters in history.

You will be able to see its winding and narrow streets, its Christian past, its importance as the capital of the Visigothic kingdom, its Arab and Jewish influence, to the point that it is called the city of the three cultures. Some call it the Constantinople of the West.

We mean that if you are in Turkey you should visit Istanbul, but if you are in Spain not visiting Toledo would be a sacrilege

Consuegra and Toledo, a great combination.

<b>What you will find on the tour to Córdoba: </b>

Coming to Spain is like going to Rome and not visiting the Vatican. It's unforgivable.

Córdoba is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Why visit Córdoba?

The most powerful man in the world lived in Córdoba. He ordered a palace to be built with such luxury that he would not have to say that but rather his visitors would be the ones to recognize him.

We propose making a whirlwind visit to Córdoba from Madrid.

To do this you have to get up very, very early.

<b>
This would be the program: </b>

7:30 a.m.: Departure from Atocha on the High-Speed AVE train,

10:30 a.m. Visit of Medina Azahara

1:30 p.m. End of the visit to Medina Azahara.

2:00 p.m. Lunch in a restaurant near the Jewish Quarter

3:45 p.m. Visit to the Mosque, the Alcázar and the Synagogue.

8 pm Departure to Madrid by AVE Córdoba Madrid.

10 p.m. Arrival in Madrid Atocha.

<b>
What to see in Córdoba</b>

Córdoba, like Seville, is a city rich in history and culture, with a variety of impressive places to visit.

Here are some suggestions on what to see in Córdoba:
<ul>
<li>The Mosque-Cathedral of Córdoba: This impressive building combines elements of Islamic and Christian architecture and is one of the most emblematic sites in Spain. Its forest of columns and horseshoe arches is impressive, as is the mihrab and the impressive Renaissance choir inside.</li>
<li>The Alcázar of the Christian Kings: This fortified palace was built in the 14th century and houses beautiful gardens, patios and swimming pools. It also has a watchtower with panoramic views of the city.</li>
<li>The Roman Bridge: This ancient bridge over the Guadalquivir River is one of the oldest structures in the city and offers excellent views of the Mosque-Cathedral and the old town of Córdoba.</li>
<li>La Judería: This charming medieval neighborhood is full of narrow cobblestone streets, flowery patios and whitewashed houses. It is the perfect place to get lost and enjoy the unique atmosphere of Córdoba.
La Calleja de las Flores:</li>
<li>This picturesque alley is famous for its whitewashed houses, flower pots and views of the Mosque-Cathedral tower. It is one of the most photographed corners of the city.
The Viana Palace: This Renaissance palace has an impressive collection of patios and gardens, each with its own style and unique decoration.</li>
<li>The Synagogue of Córdoba: This medieval synagogue is one of the few that have survived in Spain and presents an interesting combination of Islamic and Jewish architectural styles.
Mercado Victoria: This gastronomic market is the perfect place to try delicious Cordoba cuisine, which includes dishes such as salmorejo, flamenquín, and oxtail.</li>
</ul>
These are just some of the many attractions that Córdoba has to offer. The city is also known for its patio festival, unique cuisine, and rich history, so I recommend exploring these aspects during your visit as well.

Adventure with castles, medieval cities or cathedrals

  • They will always adjust to the standard program but without knowing the wineries or the city to be visited until 2 or 3 weeks before the tour date, at which time Winebus will inform the client of the final Tour program.
  • They can be reserved up to 6 months in advance.
  • We propose a wine tour with a touch of adventure. We will visit an attractive winery with good wines and a nice story to tell. We can go from Madrid, towards the north, towards the south, towards the east or the west. Because we have wineries to visit in the 4 cardinal points. After eating we will do an afternoon activity. Visiting a medieval city is the same as seeing a beautiful landscape or a cathedral, a castle. We want to be moved by what we visit and the stories they tell us. And after that visit we try to end with a toast to congratulate each other on the day we have lived together. We want you to not only like the winery and its wines, but also what we eat and what we will experience in the rest of the trip and we will try to have a glass of wine in our hand as much as we can. And we will try to get them to tell us nice stories because all the wines have a nice story behind them. And the beautiful stories are even more beautiful if you have a glass of wine in your hand.

<h2><b>What</b> are the Castle experience tour from Madrid about?<b> </b></h2>
<strong>We propose you carry out in a guided tour during the weekdays what we have been doing every Saturday (Day tour) in previous years.</strong>

Our formula has been working since then and we have been changing some details after having other previous trips in Spain and receiving any kind of feedback from other local and foreign people.

<strong>We propose to you a wine tour and a little bit of adventure in the same package.</strong> You have the opportunity of visiting an attractive winery with excellent wines and a nice story behind it.

Anywhere you would move around Spain you can find a lot of attractive wineries in the four corners. After having visited a specific winery, we will have some lunch in all our selected destinations.

You can have some tapas and wines or eat all your meals by using a restaurant table. <strong>The cost may vary, starting from 15 euros if you want to eat tapas or from 20 to 40 euros if you want a three-course lunch.</strong> It is up to you to decide your favorite option, which is not included in the price.
<h2>Castle experience tours. Castle tour near Madrid.</h2>
After lunchtime, we will have an afternoon activity. It could be a Medieval town or any other place that has a beautiful landscape, a cathedral, or a very well preserved castle from the middle ages.

We finish the activity with a toast to celebrate all the achieved experiences we had on the same day.

We intend to enjoy not only the winery and its wines but also the rest of the activities that we do during the day. Either enjoy the local gastronomy or what we eat, as well as the rest of the complementary activities that are included in the tour. We believe that these other activities make the wine tour more fun and attractive. And that the complimentary activities are also more attractive with a glass of wine in hand.

Everywhere we go we are looking for the story that there is behind. We know that every good wine has a lovely story underneath. Stories are nicer with a glass of wine in hand.

Our visitors said they loved the experience. They said also they would do it again. And they will say it to others.

At the end of the tour, they say goodbye to each other as if they knew for years even though they knew each other just a few hours in advance.

  • They have a defined date and program and can only be reserved about 2 months in advance.
  • The attraction of these Tours is that in addition to the usual activities, we make them coincide with the festivals that are celebrated in the towns we go to and the atmosphere is very festive.

<h3><b>What</b> You<b> Can Expect </b></h3>
<p><strong>Spain</strong> is the country of the “Fiesta” Few like <strong>Hemingway</strong> wrote about the Spanish Fiesta as he did. In Spain “Fiestas” are amazing.</p>
<p>It is a country that lives from “Fiesta to “Fiesta” <strong>Our Fiestas are usually in summer</strong>. That is the time when locals are getting back to the village or town they were born.</p>
<p>Watching them having fun you can understand better and get in love with those towns. This is what we have been doing in the past in the Winebus in Summer. We do the same schedule for the rest of the year.</p>
<p>The only thing that changes is that we might start our adventure in the afternoon. We go first to a winery. We start the season going to a winery and then to Pedraza and its fiesta de las Velas (<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TnKKuludECc">Video</a>) (<a href="https://www.tripadvisor.es/ShowUserReviews-g187514-d4040458-r287099084-Winebus-Madrid.html#REVIEWS">Review “Ribera & Pedraza. Night of the Candles”</a> .</p>
<p>And we also go on the second weekend to the <a href="https://blog.wanderant.com/post/124070596109/winebus-a-great-way-to-explore-wineries-outside">International concert of Country that there is in Riaza</a>. (<a href="https://www.tripadvisor.es/ShowUserReviews-g187514-d4040458-r335665201-Winebus-Madrid.html#REVIEWS">Review “A must for Winelovers”</a>) And then to enjoy Avila and its wonderful nights. (<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NnXojKm8Rfo">Video</a>).</p>
<p>We have also enjoyed a wonderful night harvest with a music concert in the winery. We have gone to the castle of Belmonte to enjoy the world medieval Championship <a href="https://www.tripadvisor.es/ShowUserReviews-g187514-d4040458-r205701120-Winebus-Madrid.html">(Review “Wonderful Day Trip. Wine, a Castle and windmills”)</a></p>
<p>We have been present when the commemoration of how the world was divided into two countries as Portugal and Spain, 1494. And we pretend to go much further. We might jump into the fast speed train to experience the best of the best of this country that does not stop surprising to us.</p>
<p>And we strongly believe that everything is more beautiful with a glass of wine in hand. We want our foreign visitors to enjoy as if they were locals. Because this is the best way in our opinion to enjoy this country. As <strong>Hemingway</strong> used to do.</p>
<p><strong>The whole country is a feast. But there is a task of choosing the best</strong>. And of course, all that fiestas are are much more beautiful if you have a glass of wine in hand. Will you come with us?</p>

Ribera del Duero Private Wine Tour

<p><strong>Ribera del Duero</strong> has recently been considered as one of the best areas in the world in the production of quality wines. Duero River is synonymous of quality all the way. Ribera del Duero opened to the world later than Rioja. The Apellation of Origin was created in 1980. Since that time more and more people have become supporters and fans of its wines. Currently they have enormous international prestige. But to enjoy Ribera del Duero you have to consider not only its wines but its towns (some of them medieval towns), its landscapes, its gastronomy, its festivals, its customs. Ribera del Duero is only 2 hours far from Madrid. The typical grape in here is Tempranillo but you can also find some other grapes in a minority. The wines produced here  are full-bodied wines and where the fruit is very present.  </p>

Ávila and Rueda wineries from Madrid Private Wine Tour

<p>We will visit <strong>Rueda</strong> where the ellaborate the white wines better known in Spain. When you get tinto the town of Rueda you would think you have a arrived to a western village in with only the main Street exists The kind of wine they ellaborate in here is White wone with verdejo grapes. This grape is so special that once you taste you do not ever forget its flavour and taste Besides wine the most impressive thing in Rueda, are their underground caves that were built many centuries ago when the only way to keep wine during the whole year when ageing in barrels french tehcnique was not yet available and the only way to have wine for the whole year was to dig into the earth and to have the wine resting there with the apropiate contant temparature, humidity, dim light and sound. Most of the wineries closed their business in 1950/60 and the few that remained in town bought the undergorund caves to the others , so now you can see endless galleries owned by 2 of the most important wineries in Rueda. There are several stunning towns nearby with a medieval history past that will leave us speechless. There they are Tordesillas, Avila and Medina del Campo with an impressive history that could fill entire libraries. On the Winebus we love to listen to nice stories and we believe that these stories are much nicer if  you listen to them with a good wine glass in hand, and that is actually what we try to do day by day we go this área.</p>

Windmills of Don Quixote from Madrid Private Wine Tour

<p>La Mancha is the the largest surface of vineyard in the world. It might one of the best áreas in Spain for growing grapes of good quality. At least that is what several wineries with experience in other areas of Spain have decided to open on this 21 th centuriy a winery on this land. So, it is interesting to realice how this área has the wineries with the most new technologies and also the oldest. La Mancha could be the most picturesque área of Spain for that reason. And, on the other hand we have Toledo as an historic town of medieval era and villages as Consuegra, Campo de Criptana and La Mota del Cuervo, all of them with amazing windmills, and the best places for doing birdwatching. We also do that things on the Winebus because we consider taht everything is better with a glass of wine in hand.  </p>
